Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Nic is a Lubbock High graduate and studied Design Communications at Texas Tech University.
Nic married his beautiful, talented wife Holly in 2015. Holly has been a stylist and buyer with the local boutique, Chrome, since 2006. Nic and Holly have three fur-children, including two rescues, which keep things interesting around their home!
With banking and field abstractor experience, Nic came into title work by chance. He found that the problem-solving aspects/ chaining title and digging into the history of real property was a good fit. He has been a huge asset to Service Title 16 years now and counting!

With loyalty at the forefront and pride in his work, Nic finds a great sense of accomplishment as Title Examiner because he believes “what we do as a title company is important and necessary.” Though the closing experience and title policy are what most folks see, Nic is a key player in the pivotal role of maintaining accuracy and clarity of title records- not only through what is filed of record but also fixing title defects to clean up a chain of title in public records. “I strongly believe that the rights to individual real estate and private land ownership are of the most important that we have as Americans. Having accurate and dependable title records is an essential part of maintaining these rights.”

Nic has a love for music, travel, cooking, nature, and landscaping, and is a definite car enthusiast. Music is a hobby and passion as well as a “side-gig” primarily as a trumpet player. Nic is also a guitarist and plays the keyboard/ synths. He has had the honor of playing and recording with numerous bands and artists, of genres ranging from jazz to Americana, over the last 20 years and has also done commercial studio work.
